“Abbie is great! I would not have been able to get to where I am right now without her support. She helped me physically and emotionally and I cannot thank her enough.”

“I cannot recommend Balancing Act highly enough!”

“Before I found Dr. Abbie, I was feeling very hopeless and frustrated. I had been to a local physical therapist who only had a vague knowledge of vestibular function/disorders. Dr. Abbie was able to help clear my BPPV from the comfort of my own home and help me realize what vestibular issues I had and how to deal with them. I am still a work in progress, but with her help I am feeling so much better. Would highly recommend!”

“I’m so grateful for the level of care that was provided for me. The reason for my symptoms was explained very thoroughly to me. The appointments never felt rushed but at the pace I was comfortable with. It’s difficult to get the medical help needed through this quarantine, but Balancing Act Rehabilitation provides a Telehealth option and knows exactly how to guide the treatment without any confusion. Super thankful to have been checked up on between sessions to see if I was doing okay.”

“Abbie was my wonderful vestibular therapist for a year. I was diagnosed with vestibular neuritis and BPPV. When I first started with her, I was unable to leave my home without being accompanied by someone else. I had vertigo and from this developed a fear of open spaces. Throughout the year, Abbie worked with me using a variety of techniques including eye stabilization and other exercises, YouTube videos and maneuvers. Under her guidance, I started moving around more. Gradually, my symptoms lessened and I’m happy to report that I am now recovered. Abbie, thank you for all your hard work in getting me here! I am forever grateful!”

“I have lived on different islands for over 5 years, and although I enjoy the “island life,” health, doctors, physicians might be limited. (After being in a car accident), I knew I want(ed) to get back to my regular life, but didn’t trust myself to make the decisions of what was right for me. Finally, I found Abbie and she was such a huge help. She guided me through exercises I had never thought of or (had) been able to find anywhere and thanks to these exercises and activities… I was able to go back to my regular life without any doubts or second guess(es). Not only did the rehab exercises allow me to do so, but also speaking with Abbie and understanding my limitations did so.”

“For so many reasons, I’m incredibly thankful to have found Balancing Act Rehabilitation. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and receive vestibular therapy without having to leave my home, which was huge. And Dr. Ross’ expertise in vestibular disorders and rehab is truly impressive. She has also connected me to other helpful resources, which help me understand my disorder and how to manage it. Highly recommend!”

“At first, I was a bit skeptical using videoconferencing for rehab because I have never done it for any other sort of medical care. With my busy work schedule and home life, on top of exorbitant copays for local therapists, it made more sense for me to explore this option. Throughout the entire process, Abbie was a consummate professional and made me feel at ease. Her advice and expertise helped me overcome my injury and get back in the gym in no time. I would not hesitate to recommend Abbie to anyone in need of physical therapy!”
